ασαρημωθ <Semitic; Hellenistic period>

👉 ασαρημωθ (vv.ll.  ασσαρημωθ, σαρημωθ) – ‘the fields’ (LXX: Jer. 38(31).40).

🅔 A transliteration of Biblical Hebrew haššəḏēmôṯ, i.e. a plural form of šəḏēmā ‘field, territory’ with the definite article ha-. The consonant -ρ- (vs. Hebrew -ḏ-) is an error due to the similarity of the Hebrew letters ד and ר (cf. βαρ, γεδδουρ).
