👉 αἰμοίως (v.l. αἵμοος) – an Egyptian gloss with the meaning of βάτος ‘bramble (Rubus ulmifolius Schott)’ (Dsc. 4.37 RV).

⚠ Dsc. 4.37 RV: βάτος· (...) Αἰγύπτιοι αἰμοίως, οἱ δὲ ἄμετρος. – “Batos (bramble): the Egyptians (call it) aimoiōs or ametros”. Cf. ἄμετρος.
